Military Party Theme
Send top secret documents in a classified-stamped manila envelope asking guests on a mission: party!
Uniforms are required to embark on this mission. Reporting to the army base wearing military uniforms, including a helmet, weapons, and boots. Paint each other's faces with black or camouflage facepaint. Sailor, cadet, and military captain costumes for both men and women can be found online.
Host the party outdoors. A park with a jungle gym (for training) is an ideal location. Decorate with camouflage fabrics, American flags, and brown, black, and green balloons. Assign soldiers to race to pitch a tent the fastest, an activity that encourages team work. Award medals for various activities throughout the night.
The game of paintball can improve one's strategy planning. Split into teams and battle with paintguns, waterballoons, or waterguns. Other team-building activities include tug-of-war, a game of capture the flag and an obstacle course race.
Even the food should be camouflage. Decorate the cake in an Army theme. For example, create a tank-shaped cake with soldier cake toppers. Also enjoy hot dogs, corn on the cob, and fruit kabobs.
Give soldiers toy weapons, water guns, parachute men, binoculars, whistles, and flashlights as party favors.
