Willy Wonka Party Theme
Looking for sweet party ideas?
Throw a “Willy Wonka and the Chocalate Factory” party! Goodie bags full of candy make the perfect invitations. Or, send each guest a “golden ticket” which gets them into the party factory.
Place lollipop signs in the front yard and rent a gumball machine. Decorate with colorful balloons, streamers, and lickable wallpaper. Place a basket full of candy in the center of each table. Place a chocolate factory in the center of the room and dip strawberries or marshmallows. Rent a bubble blower to fill the room.
Another idea is to host the party at a candy store. Call and local candy shop and ask how.
Have a bubble-blowing contest or make candy necklaces to keep young guests entertained. Hire little people to dress as Umpa Lumpas and recite poems to guests as they enter the party. Play the soundtrack to “Willy Wonka” throughout the night.
When it comes to food, the sweeter, the better. Plenty of candy and desserts should be on the menu.
Create a buffet table of sweets and candy for guests with cupcakes, cookies, candy, caramel apples, delicious desserts, ice cream, milk shakes, chocolate-covered pretzels, etc.
