This is my DJ business and I am one of possibly 3 independent females in the bay area. This uniqueness makes it easier for me to do special events which include childrens parties; baby showers; bachelor and bachelorette parties; women's groups; lesbian parties and parties for girls and women from cultures that restict males from involvement like some Middle Eastern groups. I use a laptop computer with approximately 70,000 songs and the capability to search and find a requested song almost instantanly. I usually do not play cd's unless someone requests it. Before a party,all one has to do is e-mail me a list of songs and I can have them in a special folder on my computer when I get to the event or selctions can be made from my general inventory of 70,000 songs. I have several sets of equipment to suit parties from two people to a stadium full. I am currently a full member of the American Disc Jockey Association (ADJA) and I have full liability insurance coverage. I can also MC events which include weddings,beginning to end. I was an on-air radio announcer for eight years in drive-time,the most listened time of the day.
